Housing

The University of Iowa is a residential university with a scenic 2,000 acre campus that adjoins the downtown Iowa City area and sits along the banks of the Iowa River. The University is also surrounded by biking and hiking trails and hosts a number of footpaths and bus routes, which allow ready access to housing within the city and the surrounding area.

A variety of housing options, from apartment buildings and rooming houses to university-owned rental units and on-campus residence halls, are available.
