	Chemistry Center The Department of Chemistry has established the Chemistry Center to serve all students taking chemistry courses and the professors and teaching assistants teaching those courses. The Chemistry Center is located in room 231 of the Chemistry Building. Student services include maintaining “wait lists” for full course sections, signing drop-add slips, returning exams and homework, maintaining files of lecture hand-outs for selected courses, and providing a library of alternative first-year chemistry textbooks. Grades, exam scores, and answer keys for many courses are posted in the hallway outside of the Chemistry Center. Chemistry Center personnel know the office hours of all faculty teaching undergraduate courses and the office hours for the teaching assistants. The Center also contains manuals and reference materials for software in the Computer Facility, all of which can be checked out by students. The Chemistry Center includes two conference rooms that are used for various purposes, including group tutoring and make-up examinations. The Chemistry Center hours are 8-12 and 1-5 daily.
