Chemistry Stores is the central hub for all purchasing activities of the Chemistry Department. They carry an in-stock inventory of approximately 1,400 items, and are able to special order most anything else that is needed. Along with placing orders, Chemistry Stores also tracks orders, handles the accounting for purchases, fills liquid nitrogen cylinders, and deals with product returns. The individuals responsible for these and many other duties involved in operating Chemistry Stores are: Gene Hauge, Manager; Tim Koon; and Andy Lynch.

Services provided:

• Vend office and laboratory supplies and equipment from inventory
• Initiate purchases from external vendors
• Provide requisitions for purchases within the University system
• Shipping and receiving
