M.Sc. University of Calcutta

B.Sc. University of Calcutta

Sudip's project focuses on the synthesis, stabilization, and purification of solution-phase nanoparticles for quantitative SERS detection.

Michael R. Ivanov

Graduate Student: Michael R. Ivanov, 2008 - Present

Email: michael-ivanov(at)uiowa.edu

B.S. Loras College

Mike's research focuses on understanding what is on the surface of nanoparticles and how that surface chemistry impacts separations of neurotransmitters using capillary electrophoresis.

Anna Volkert

Graduate Student: Anna Volkert, 2008 - Present

Email: anna-volkert(at)uiowa.edu

B.S. University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire

Anna is a second year graduate student working on quantifying the stability of size-tunable nanostructures in extreme solution conditions for biological applications.

Marie Pierre

Graduate Student: Marie Pierre, 2008 - Present

Email: mariecarmelle-pierre(at)uiowa.edu

B.S. Kean College

Marie works on the composite nanoparticle project for cancer drug detection. Her current project focus is on synthesizing (relatively) large batches of these materials for characterization and applications.
