Welcome to the Cannon Group Website!

Our new home on the web features information all about the Cannon Research Group and more specifics about what we've been doing. As you navigate throughout the site, you will find brief biographical sketches of the "Cannonites," the most recent news from the group, a brief description of our research eneavors, descriptions of some of the tools we use, a publications listing, fun photographs, and pertinent links of interest to the group and hopefully, to you as well. Please navigate your way through our pages and contact us for further information. Thanks for stopping by!

The lower left image is a graphical way to represent what our research goals, achievements, and areas of interest are. Our overarching methods draw from neuroscience and small (micro and nano) science. As a bioanalytical chemistry group, we are highly integrative and combine many analytical techniques towards biological sensing in neuronal systems. The image below (right) is a summer 2006 photo of some of the "Cannonites." From left to right, Mike Ivanov, Irma Nydegger, Perry Motsegood, Michelle Fox, and Tim Paschkewitz.
